In 2015, Crystalbrook Community Group made a total donation of $10,500 to the three schools in Warman. Each school will receive $3500.
The Warman Elementary School will be using their funds to go towards new playground equipment to replace some of the aging equipment currently at the school.
The Warman Community Middle School will be using this money to help enhance their newly created Cross Country Ski program that will be starting up next winter. The new ski trails will be created by The City of Warman and The Legends Golf Course and it will provide a great opportunity to introduce the kids to a different sport.
The Warman High School will direct their funds towards aiding extra curricular activity costs. The High School will see a decrease in funds this next year due to the PSSD budget cuts so this money will help with uniform, transportation and the many other costs associated with extra curricular activities.
The Crystalbrook Community Group has put on numerous fundraisers throughout the past few years. The Night the Ladies Left 2015 was sponsored by Anytime Fitness and Agile Athletics. It was held on April 18 in Warman and helped us raise over $9300. Without the support of the businesses who donated funds and prizes to this event as well as those who attended this event it would not have been as successful. Next year, The Night the Ladies Left will be held on April 30. Anyone interested in helping with this event or would like to be part of our community group are encouraged to contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or find us on Facebook
