Crystalbrook Community Group
The Crystalbrook Community Group was formed in spring 2010 by a group of Warman residents. Our mission statement is ‘Working Together to Create a Stronger Sense of Community.’ Our group is committed to making Warman an enjoyable place to live by holding a variety of events and using the proceeds from these events to give back to the community.
We have held various events throughout the past three years for families to attend with the exception of ‘The Night the Ladies Left’ event, which is put on for local ladies. With the proceeds from our events, we have been thrilled to be able to make donations towards playground equipment at the Elementary School and Brooklyn Crescent playground, and to the Legends Centre for their upcoming Children’s Play Area. We have also helped other local clubs and teams raise funds by enlisting their help at our events.
In early 2013 we helped raise funds for a gymnasium divider curtain for the Warman Elementary School. With this donation complete we are happy to say we have donated over $30,000 in event and fundraiser proceeds to the community and school in just under three years of our group being in existence. We are very proud of this accomplishment!
